GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

Parijnan Vidyalay is an English Medium school in Kotekar. It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Delhi, vide No. 831378

The academic year is divided into 2 terms. The first term is usually from June to September and the second term is usually from October to April.

Admission is open to all children irrespective of caste, creed, religion or region, subject to rules of Saraswat Education Society and the availability of seats in each class.

Application forms for admission can be obtained from the School office on payment of a prescribed fee or can be downloaded from this website.

Admission to Nursery, L.K.G. and Class I commences in January itself. As per the latest circular by the Department of Education, a child should complete 4 years by May 31st of that academic year while seeking admission for L.K.G. Parents should note that the date of birth entered in the school records during admission will remain the same throughout the academic years of the student. For admission to Class I, the child should have completed 5 years 10 months  as on 31st May of that academic year.

Original birth certificate and a photocopy thereon, along with a passport size photo have to be submitted along with the application for admission.

Applications for admission should be made in the prescribed form and submitted along with the Transfer Certificate from the school last attended. Upon admission, every pupil shall pay the prescribed fee.
