About Parijnan Vidyalay

How It Started

Fulfilling the local needs for a high-quality, value-based, English-medium high school, the Saraswat Education Society initiated the Parijnan Vidyalay Pre-Primary School in 2017.

The expansion of Parijnan Vidyalay to a full-fledged English-medium high school conforming to the CBSE curriculum is now being executed in a phased manner.

In 2018, the Pre-Primary building was renovated and one section each of Std I-IV classes were started. As a result, a sharp rise in admissions into the Lower KG to Std IV classes was noticed within the first 2 years.

Expansion Plans

Noting this encouraging trend, the Saraswat Education Society made plans to expand the infrastructure of Parijnan Vidyalay up to Std X in two phases with an emphasis on sports, arts culture and heritage, apart from science, commerce and digital literacy.

Today, besides the regular classrooms, the newly constructed building of Parijnan Vidyalay has –

• Rooms for science and computer labs, music, dance, arts, sports rooms and also a counselling/medical room;

• Two sections each from Nursery to Std X classes are ready to accommodate 900 students every year.

This fully developed English-medium secondary school building of Parijnan Vidyalay with modern, well-equipped facilities will definitely benefit many households in and around Kotekar.
