What is the admission process?

Admission is open to all children irrespective of caste, creed, religion or region, subject to rules of Saraswat Education Society and the availability of seats in each class.

• Download the Application Form from the website or contact the school office for the same.
• Fill up all the details on the Application Form and submit along with the necessary documents in the school office.
• Submission of the form does not ensure admission or acceptance to the school.
• Admission decision will be conveyed to the parents.

What are the documents required at the time of admission?

The following documents are required to be submitted:
• Photocopy of the student’s birth certificate and Aadhar Card (if applicable).
• School leaving certificate (can be submitted later if currently unavailable).
• UDISE Number (Unified District information System for Education) from current school (applicable for admissions from Std. 1 onwards).
• Photocopy of the current class Report Card (applicable for admissions from Std 1 onwards).
• 3 passport size photographs of the student.

What are the school timings?

PRE-NURSERY : 9:30A.M to 12:30P.M
NURSERY ONWARDS: 9:15 A.M TO 3:40P.M

What curriculum or board does the school follow?

Parijnan Vidyalay is an English Medium school in Kotekar, it is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Delhi, vide No. 831378
The school has been granted affiliation for Kindergarten to Secondary Classes. Parijnan Vidyalay has the required permission from the Department of Education, Government of Karnataka to run a CBSE School.

What kind of entrance test will be taken at the time of admission?

A written test is conducted for lateral entries from Class I to VIII during the time of admission on syllabus pertaining to the previous class studied.

Admissions are on a first come, first serve basis.

What is the age requirement for admission?

Admission to Nursery, L.K.G. and Class I commences in January every year. As per the latest circular by the Department of Education, a child should complete 4 years by May 31st of that academic year while seeking admission for L.K.G. The parents should remember that the date of birth entered in the school records during admission will remain the same throughout the academic years of the student. During the admission to Class I, the child should have completed 6 years as on 31st May of that academic year.

Will uniforms and books be provided by the school?

Does the School offer transport facility?

No, currently the school does not offer any transport facility.
